TEHRAN – The Interior Ministry has launched a special committee to deal with electoral crimes over the coming weeks, the interior minister said on Wednesday.

Speaking to ISNA, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said the body will monitor the activities of the candidates, their fans, political parties, as well as printed and online media.

He also said there have been numerous reports on electoral crime in the past few days, adding the committee is investigating them.
